1: There comes a time when faith is all there
is. It is there waiting all along but you finally realize you
need to trust that something is bigger than just the collection of
great information. This is the best place to be because the
frantic search for the perfect article comes to a sudden
HALT
and you just know that you have to breath and be still. This
is the peace I pray you will come to and in that time you will just
wait. Wait on the Lord for the rest of your answers. Lay
your hands on your womb and ask for a blessing.
2: You will need to put the information to use. We all want the "how to" books to actually fix the clogged sink, put the scrapbook pages together or to be able to snap our fingers and be thin and healthy. BUT my friend, these are only books about how YOU need to DO IT. Take the info and do what you need to when you need to but don't be a collector of info while others are putting it to work.
I heard a motivational speaker many years ago. She gave an example of someone in an MLM business who was having a slump in her business. A new girl signed on under her and voraciously went after all the tidbits of wisdom this woman could give. The old timer was discouraged but she gave the new girl all her old pearls of wisdom that she had used in the beginning.
The newbie went away and followed the advice, and when the next meeting came around there was a big roar about this new girl because she was the top in new sales that month; IN THE COMPANY. The first woman called a special meeting for her group to have her come and tell how it was that in the first month she could have beaten everyone else in new business. She was surprised at the question and just said "I don't understand the question." "I just did what YOU told me."
It isn't about collecting info but rather about doing it. I
personally believe in the Nike slogan. - Just do it!
